A Shaker card

Hi friends...How is the festive season going? The days falls short to do all the preparations for me! In between the birthday season starts in family and in friends circle too. Here is the shaker card which I wanted to try since long. I made this for my dear friend who calls me well in advance that her birthday is coming soon and I should better be ready with a card for her;) So, it's always has to be special!
I made a fall scene as I love the colors in fall.

I used water soluble color pencil to color the image added some pie lane chunky glitter and glitter balls to finish it. Let me know how you like it!

Name plate for kids

Today I am here to show a name plate I made for my kids. Since I have 2 grown up boys and they are so much into sports these days, I thought to have a sports theme for it. All the embellishments are hand cut. Even the letters are hand cut.

Hope you like it!

A wall - art

Hello my blog pals....It's been long time(almost 10 months) since I have posted anything. But that doesn't mean that I was not crafting at all. I am going through a very busy phase of life. Yet I find time to do some nice projects for my kids. That at least satisfies my arty taste buds! Recently I am also working on a wall art for my friend's renovated terrace. haven't finished yet but I will show you a pic of the piece which I did as a trial at my terrace wall.

This is done with paper-mache and some cement. Have done brick colour and stuck some mirrors on it. It has totally changed the ambiance of my terrace. It is inspired by kachhi lipan work.

Thanks for visiting . I will be up again soon!:)

A birthday card

Hello, A quick post to share a birthday card I made for one of a stylish friend! I could not think anything else than a beautiful dress for her card. So, I hand cut the dress and embellished it with some pearls and lace.

Sorry for the bad photo quality. It was taken in hurry!

Teacher's day cards and chart

Recently Teacher's day went and I made few cards and bookmarks for my kidos' teachers. It was in hurry so couldn't make them with so much details. Generally, I take a little longer time for my craft. In other words I can say I will be putting efforts till last minute! How about you? Are you a fast crafter or like me?

Coincidentally my younger son who is in Mont. was learning letter 'T" that week. and he found it so easy to connect. He now knows one more word with "T" other than tiger and turtle! Such a big thing for him!!:)

This card was literally made in 5 mins for elder one's computer mam as he found out that we din't make anything for computer mam!!!

Some bookmarks....

This is a half chart I made for "save water". I love to draw these figures rather than to cut and paste them from other chart:)

paper-cut card

Hi friends...so much to share! First of all my sock puppet is selected among the finalists for the Itsy-Bitsy challenge blog.:) yey...happy happy!

I made this hand cut card for a special friend. I had this x acto knife and haven't used it for once. and final got the time to used it. I hand drawn the freehand design first and then cut it. After long time I did some challenging craft. The challenge was where to cut and where to not. It's so much fun and you have to be very alert while cutting small gaps like leaves and all the joints to the letters.

I love it so much and even my friend liked it!
