Hello ladies.....after long absence I am back with couple of cards. Last couple of months were quite happening. We went to few places for vacation in and around Bangalore. Soon, the schools will re-open and I am hoping to get some real good productive time!

Here is a card I made for our anniversary. It was just in an hour. So, couldn't make any better than this:) Although hubby liked it but I am not so much satisfied with outcome:(.


And, this one is for friend of mine. I want to enter this card for Inspiration challenge at Kalalayaa's art studio. I was inspired by Kavitha's this card.
I first time used multiple loop method and it was fun!

Summer summer

Hey friends, Hope you are staying cool and hap as the summer days have arrived! I get very typical feeling in this time of a year....there is always a little anxiety running as I feel it's exam time! as generally March is a final exam time, thank God there are no more study days! When I was young i was thinking...how lucky my mom is, she doesn't have any exam, just doing work and roam around! and finally now I am doing that and so relived that there are no more tests!!! But, the only thing I miss is hanging around with my pals and the real fun we have after exams are over:( Do you have a typical feeling for particular time of the year?

Today I want to share a card I made for Scrappy scrap challenge! I have used glass painting colors on acetate sheet. The challenge was organized by Shalini. She sent us the scrap from which I have created my card! If you like the card, you can vote over her blog! Everybody has done such a wonderful job! Thanks Shalini for this opportunity!



Before I sign out, I can't resist myself to show you the invites I made for my lil one's b'day party tomorrow! I downloaded jungle background and that board. And those cute animals u see are from Lovely lady Rachna. Thanks a lot girl, without you this card wouldn't have come out so nice!

Some help needed!

Happy Monday to all! Hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine was super busy one:) No, not busy in crafting. usually I don't craft in weekend. when everybody's at home, I can't get enough peace and privacy;) ya, sounds weired, but I need some privacy for expressing myself as I am little shy in expressing in presence of people:)

Next month we are celebrating my younger one's 1st birthday. I wanted to start on invites for theme 'animals', was looking for some nice jungle background online, do you know any site from which you can download such background and animals?

Ever since I saw the frame card made by Ujjawal, and the video how to make it, I wanted to make one, though I think the frame became very big for me, hence the card. but, anyway it was a first attempt! Thanks Ujjawal for inspiration!

I drew, color and cut that butterfly, isn't it lovely?!

recycled paper card!

My Mom send me lots of wedding invitations. They come with nice thick papers, sometime with beautiful print on it and nice handmade paper. Here is something I made yesterday for my friend's birthday! The embellishments and that crochet ribbon were brought from Ahmedabad.

All my lovely ladies out there....I wish you a very happy valentine's day!
I was having so many ideas and started working on one, but then the day had arrived and i thought i don't have enough time to finish it. Then I ended up making this one. It was made in all jiffy. Infact I was still making this one when he returned home from office! but, love the way it has turned out....and he loved it!!!:)

Everything is handcut...the flowers are the ones my sis got me and that tree branch paper was cut from a t-shirt tag!


and inside i made this cute message envelope!

Since my little one N's birth, I can see he is faster in everything! Younger ones always have advantage to learn things fast as they continuously watch the older sibling doing things. At age of 10 months he knows to click the mouse, he imitates everyone and knows which shelf have packets of biscuits in nearby store! I am really surprised and worried at the same time that will I be able to cope up with him? Kids these days are smarter than what we were at their age. I feel my 5 year old already knows half of the things i know...and in couple of years I won't have anything to teach him:(
SO, I need to buck up...I have started reading newspaper thoroughly(seriously I am concerned!!) and reading the history books once again to brush up! I hope this will act as add-on till they think...mamma u don't know anything!!!:)

And a card I made for my aunt who was alone with dehydration and was hospitalized for couple of days...I really wanted to boost her up:)

OK...almost after 2 months...That was loooong! So much happened in between this time. but, I want to share the highlight....My lovely sister got me the craft stuff from Hobby Ideas in Mumbai. I was so excited to use it. And here you go....
