Hiya gals, I am so happy to share with you, I am a winner of CraftJC Challenge #11 - Pick your palette for THIS card. This is my first win ever in the blogland.
And now I have a card to share with you. Initially I started to make a christmas card for my son's teacher and ended up with this! Love the denim effect appeared after stamping 'dots for sure' with acrylic paint. It is also giving a frozen/snow effect. I am now making another one for his teacher and hope I won't get diverted again;)
Hope you all have a Merry Christmas and A Happy new year!
Cheers!

Birthday Album
This is my first album ever! and I am super excited!!! oh, and that also means that this is a photo heavy post! I made it for my darling hubby. and when I gave this to him....he was like flipping it over and over for 10-15 mins:) I felt heaven watching him. And then he came and said I can't imagine someone will make a Birthday album for me!
So, this image is downloaded and then coloured with Prismacolor pencils (I love Prismacolor) And I tried to stamp the 'dots for sure' in circle but, it din't came out so neat. I badly need nice stamp pads. anyways...the sentiment is print out.
I love how this page has come out. just perfect, isn' it?
Love those 3D foam stickers I was hoarding it for looong time...finally opened it:)
And this tiny envelope has photo from our ring ceremony!
I love this page too!
And this...:P
So, what do you think? Not bad for a first timer, isn't it?:)

It's a teacher's Day today! I remember when I was in school we used to become a teacher for a day and take classes on Teacher's day. What fun! That's how we celebrated it. but, now kids give flowers, cards and gifts to teachers. Well, generation changes:) I made this card for my son's teacher. I tried to make a black board and gave a little rubbed effect!

Quilled animation
It's time for another quilled card. Do you know I join the ICR a week back and i was like.....Gosh! Where was I? All Indian crafters on one single page! It's great effort put together by the team of ICR. And to celebrate it I have made this card as part of their challenge...
No digi/rubber stamps- the twist doesn't really matter to me as I don't use/have stamps much on my cards. And the first thing I could think is quilling.
I love how it came out. I was inspired by the joker we had. My elder one loved the animation created! I am thinking to frame it for his room!
See, how happy is he?!

It's a festival season as we enter 'Sharavan' month of the year! And can you believe it's August already....very soon this year is going to end! Oh man, pls someone hold the time! 2011 has been a quite happening year for me(obviously not in craft:P). Recently we have relocated to new apt. This one is like a resort. An old brick structured buildings with green lush everywhere. It's a totally different experience of life here!:) I will upload pics soon.
Meanwhile I have made Rakhi cards, I am always late in sending Rakhis. and this year is no different. I don't know if this card will reach before Rakhi:( but, anyways I am sure whenever they'll get it they will be happy!
I have made Rakhi as part of my card and sticked it with double tape, so they can remove it and tie.
Have a Happy festival season everybody!

Summer summer
Hey friends, Hope you are staying cool and hap as the summer days have arrived! I get very typical feeling in this time of a year....there is always a little anxiety running as I feel it's exam time! as generally March is a final exam time, thank God there are no more study days! When I was young i was thinking...how lucky my mom is, she doesn't have any exam, just doing work and roam around! and finally now I am doing that and so relived that there are no more tests!!! But, the only thing I miss is hanging around with my pals and the real fun we have after exams are over:( Do you have a typical feeling for particular time of the year?
Today I want to share a card I made for Scrappy scrap challenge! I have used glass painting colors on acetate sheet. The challenge was organized by Shalini. She sent us the scrap from which I have created my card! If you like the card, you can vote over her blog! Everybody has done such a wonderful job! Thanks Shalini for this opportunity!
Before I sign out, I can't resist myself to show you the invites I made for my lil one's b'day party tomorrow! I downloaded jungle background and that board. And those cute animals u see are from Lovely lady Rachna. Thanks a lot girl, without you this card wouldn't have come out so nice!

Some help needed!
Happy Monday to all! Hope you had a lovely weekend! Mine was super busy one:) No, not busy in crafting. usually I don't craft in weekend. when everybody's at home, I can't get enough peace and privacy;) ya, sounds weired, but I need some privacy for expressing myself as I am little shy in expressing in presence of people:)
Next month we are celebrating my younger one's 1st birthday. I wanted to start on invites for theme 'animals', was looking for some nice jungle background online, do you know any site from which you can download such background and animals?
Ever since I saw the frame card made by Ujjawal, and the video how to make it, I wanted to make one, though I think the frame became very big for me, hence the card. but, anyway it was a first attempt! Thanks Ujjawal for inspiration!
I drew, color and cut that butterfly, isn't it lovely?!
This card goes for following challenges!
